Roc Nation’s newest artist, Rita Ora is ready to make her name in the American music scene. The 21-year old Albanian singer has been catching my eye for over a year now with her girlish yet edgy style and has recently scored her first UK #1 single as a featured artist on DJ Fresh’s single “Hot Right Now.”

Jay-Z introduced the Rita and her single on New York’s Z100 earlier today and since then she’s had people talking. Rita’s yet-to-be titled debut album is slated to drop later on this year. It’s a tad bit generic, but it sounds like a summer hit to me.

Rihanna was spotted exciting an office building in London, England while rocking some distressed jeans, a black sweater, Timberland boots, and her signature Ray-Bans. The “Turn Up The Music” songstress has been ripping and running around London all week, including performing at the 2012 BRIT Awards this past Tuesday.

According to RadarOnline, an arrest warrant is being issued for “Turn Up The Music” singer, Chris Brown. Apparently a Florida woman is claiming the R&B singer stole her cell phone after she took a picture that he didn’t want to be released online.

“An incident report was filed against Mr. Brown, and the Florida State Attorney’s Office will be issuing a warrant for his arrest this afternoon, I can’t tell you what time, but it will be today,” said Deborah Doty, the public information officer for the Miami Police Department. Brown is accused of snatching Chrital Spann’s cell phone as he sat in a Bentley after exiting a nightclub. The police report states that Spann snapped a picture of Brown in the back of the car, and that is when Brown allegedly snatched the phone and told Spann, “Bi*ch, you ain’t giving this to no website.”

Chris is currently on probation for his assault of “Birthday Cake” singer, Rihanna, back in 2009. Let’s all hope the boys in cell block 3 don’t put a candle on his back & blow it. His Grammy Award better bail him out before Deebo & ‘nem go and put their name on it.

Australian Pop Goddess, Kylie Minogue just revealed that she has been in the studio working on a new album and will be releasing it in 2013. The singer, who is in the midst of celebrating 25 years in music, told the Metro that she should have new material ready to come next year. She said: “I have started on new music already. It should be ready for 2013.” The Pop Icon also revealed that she’s hoping to get some “big-name” guest to be featured on the album.

I’m super excited for Kylie’s new album, her last album ‘Aphrodite’ still gets played regularly ’round these parts. Her “Get Outta My Way” music video is still one of the best videos I’ve seen in the past 5 years, and visually her ‘Aphrodite’ era was stunning. From her music videos and performances, to her Aphrodite World Tour, which earned over $65 million, Kylie & her team always work their magic. Can’t wait!

Earlier today the music video for songwriter/singer The-Dream’s new single “Roc” premiered. The house party themed music video was shot in Miami and The-Dream claims he wanted the video to be reminiscent of 90′s music video. The “Single Ladies” songwriter told Billboard:

“It was really natural, I just wanted to have fun and  go back to those 90s videos where it’s always like you got the camera for the first time. Like, ‘Oh shit! Let’s just shoot this shit! Let’s see what happens!’”

John Legend and his fiance Christine Teigen recently sat down with Bravo’s Andy Cohen on his hit show ‘Watch What Happens Live’. During the “Plead The Fifth” segment of the show John was asked some questions, including who he thought was the most overrated star out at the moment, to which he answered saying “Sleazy” singer, Ke$ha was the most overrated.

UK X-Factor runner-up, Marcus Collins is gearing up for the release of his self-titled debut album ‘Marcus Collins’. Marcus’ lead single “Seven Nation Army” will be officially released on March 4th, just over a week before the release of his debut album on March 12th.
